Here's a look into our trophy room... only just a few awards we kept.. our past owners have the rest. Thank you all for the numerous wins we've had over the years... 

Jolie Cheval Farm is a 3rd generation horse farm. We have Shetland and Miniature horses. We have been in business approximately 60 years! Our success starts with:

Joyce Margenthaler Pierson trained some of the top Shetlands in the 1950's and 1960's. Some being:

"Prize Package"- won the Shetland Pony Stake at the Illinois State Fair numerous times

"Tamerlanes Silver Moon"- won at the Illinois State Fair "Seventh Son"- won at the Illinois State Fair and National Congress

"ERF Double Larigo"- won the Ladies Shetland Harness Pony class at the Illinois State Fair until retired.

After a long hiatus, in the late 1980's we returned in the showing end of the pony business. Our herd sire (Z.J.'s Windwalker) of Showdeo Kid bloodline is one of the most winning sires in the ASPC/AMHR organization.
Some of last years winners (sired by Windwalker) in the 2006 season include:

"JC's Mini Bites"- Foundation Grand Champion Pony
- Senior Champion winner at Congress

Futurity Winners & Class Winners at Congress: "JC's Firefly", "JC's Mini Winnie Walker", and "JC's Winning Time"

"JC's Geshan"- Grand Champion B Stallion at Mini Nationals

"JC's Dutchess"- Reserve Futurity winner

Windwalker is the sire of "JC's Leif"- who sired "CLR's Black Pearl" (AMHR National winner in numerous classes),
"CLR's Apollo" (Congress Grand Champion winner), and 2003's Supreme Halter Horse.

Windwalker is a 6 time superior sire in the AMHR/ASPC. He's sired 5 different horses of the year in 7 years!
